BRA-FLEX^® Protect is suitable for the insulation of complex line and piping systems as well as for the insulation of components, flanges and fittings. It is available in vulcanized and unvulcanized condition. The portfolio inculdes sheets, hoses and customized vulcanized molded elements.

Advantages

BRA-FLEX^® Protect increases the work safety and ensures a lower temperature in the workplace. This porduct is water-repellent, self-extinguishing, weatherproofed and it is resitant to a wide range of media.

Ranges of application

BRA-GLA® KA is preferred to use for the exterior insulation of moulds, tools and machines with a surface temperature up to 450°C.

Advantages

Due to the specific structure BRA-GLA® KA do not show delamination or brittleness.

Ranges of application

BRA-GLA® MP is preferred to use as exterior insulation of moulds, tools and machines with a surface temperature up to 270°C.

• very high resistance to impacts and deformations

Advantages

BRA-GLA® MP shows a high resistance against impact loads and it is also resistant against solvents, oil and steam. This chemical durability allows even a ultrasonic cleaning of tools without removing the BRA-GLA® MP.

S 4000® A is suitable as exterior insulation for tools, moulds and machines with a surface temperature up to 230°C.

Advantages

The excellent insulation capability of S 4000® A allows the use of thin thicknesses. Thus, also by a  limited constructed space it is possible to achieve high energy saving effects.

XGD® 15 was especially developed for the use as exterior insulation of tools and moulds.

Advantages

The structured side which is installed on the hot side generates additional air chambers which reduce energy losses by convection and radiation. Due to shorter heating–up times the optimization of the process and the safety of the operator, the use of a special outside insulation material is recommended.
